Then they were tasked with a stress test involving public speaking. The results? Those who had actual vaginal sex were found to have the least amount of stress, while those who abstained from any form of sexual activity had the highest blood pressure.
- Men who have sex three or more times a week are at a reduced risk of heart attack A study made in 2001 by Queens University found that men who had sex reduced their risk of heart attack or stroke by HALF. In addition, 1000 middle aged men were studied over a decade, and those who reported the highest frequency of orgasm enjoyed a death rate half that the others.
- Sex is a great workout If you’re constantly worrying about your weight, maybe its time you started having sex more often. Some scientists report that a vigorous bout of sex burns up about 300 calories. This is equivalent to about 20 minutes on a treadmill.In addition to burning off a significant number of calories, having sex works out a bunch of your muscles. Thighs, legs, buttocks, arms, abs – they all get a good workout when you have a particularly good bout of sex.
